Garden’s Are Showing End of Season Blooms

Usually about this time, I am pretty fed up with the garden.  The blooms are fading and the produce is flowing, which means I am in the kitchen canning.  On top of it I usually dread the kids going back to school.  I know what your thinking… WHAT!   However, my boys are either out of the house or soon will be.  Jacob my baby is a Senior in High School this year, so I am coping with what I know I will be doing this time next year, saying “goodbye”, but I digress.   Trying to overcome my end of summer blues, I have been out shooting photos and letting the chickens run around, well like…. chickens! 🙂  It really is amazing how adding chickens to your garden make it so much more enjoyable to be out there pulling weeds and cutting back spent blooms.  Even picking produce is more enjoyable, because they are sooo happy to get the veggies that the bugs have gotten or have over ripened.  So I thought I would share some of the beautiful pics I have gotten over the last few days.

Enjoy!  I certainly did!!
