Baby Chicks are One Month Old.

The lovely ladies are a month old now, and to say that they have grown is an understatement!  They spend their days outside in their ‘designer’ pen eating grass, looking for bugs and eating, eating, eating.

I gave everyone a treat yesterday.  Watermelon.  Chickens love Watermelon!  It’s actually a great treat to give them on hot days when they are having a hard time keeping cool.

Heads down, butts up!

I thought these two pics showing the little golden girl in both would give you an idea of their growth.

Nice! We just fed our girls watermelon a few days ago for the first time. They were WAY into it (and now every time they see me, I think they expect more). 🙂

Oh MAN, dried mealworms are like crack for our chickens, too! They just really can’t get enough.
